The Services Export Promotion Council, established by Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India has developed a world-class healthcare web-portal projecting India as a premier destination for medical tourism. The portal would cover all travel-related, doctor-related, available advanced technology and treatment-related information for potential medical tourists and act as a one-stop-shop for all their needs, allowing them to not only search for treatments, hospitals, doctors, and other facilities, but also book corresponding appointments completely at their own discretion.
To facilitate the same, a market research on the current state of healthcare facilities across the country is required. The following web-form is to further the aforementioned market research. It enquires about details such as variety of treatments available; number of patients, in particular medical tourists and their home countries. The underlying objective of the portal is to showcase the strengths and skills of India in different fields of medical treatment, which would help bring patients from all over the world. The web-form will provide all the registered hospitals with login ids and password to update their details as and when required. Once registered, hospitals can use the SEPC portal to promote their facilities and highlight salient features, as well as attract business growth and increase their reach on an international level.
SEPC undertakes that this research is being conducted solely for building the web portal and the data collected from the activity will be used only for the website and not for any other purpose.
